sweetappletea asked: Do you have any advice on getting your first book printed and for meeting a deadline?
Yes! your first books you do you should be printing yourself, either through a site like Ka Blam or Lulu, look around and check some reviews and match prices, or print them yourself! I plan to print and assemble OHKO myself in B/W and sell it at cons.
As for being published, printing yourself and running the con circuit helps publishers find you, or gives you enough time to grow and learn until you are ready to work with a company.
For meeting deadlines, have a calandar with all your stuff you need to do and look at it first thing in the morning, look at it as soon as you get up, and don’t do anything fun or play on the internet until you finished SOMETHING on that list,
hope this helps!
