I’m tired of people who have no idea what they are doing running Artist Alley.
I was there for the whole thing and I kept my mouth shut until they ignored Finni enough for her to go public. I’m pretty fucking tired of overzealous nerds on a power trip trying to hold one over on artists which many many are my friends, you know the people who actually MAKE shit? You want to bully some one get a job promotion at target, don’t bring that shit into my cage.
Also you want less fanart? why not just try INCENTIVES, you know things like first pick of tables at AA for having original content, cut the people who make comics a break cause doing 1 original comic is waaaaaaaaaaayy more work than 1 print.But noooo you have to beat your head against a rock making hard lined rules that you say you won’t enforce then come con time you’re totally up everyone’s asses about it.
You guys should reblog this and write them letters, because people in power need to be held to higher standards. You want a job managing artist alley? Learn to keep your cool and talk with respect, people pay for those tables and they fill your convention with interesting art. Maybe we should be able to vote for a head of artist alley because I don’t trust them to pick someone.
